UVPCGG 2ND YEAR FALL TO WINTER


  • As Fall turns into Winter the demonstration Food Forest has been harvested, composted, Chopped & Dropped, added nitrogen fixing cuttings of Siberian Pea Shrubs, and Minerals from Comfrey that grew abundantly in the Forest.

  • All the last of Tomatoes, herbs, fruit, berries and nuts have been collected

  • And an amazing new Soaker Hose System for next Summer set up

  • Almonds, Aronia Cherries, Black Currants, Hops & Tomatoes and more

  • Wine cap mushrooms our students took home

  • Along with the last apples, huge pears, chives, onions, and all kinds of herbs like Borage, Lemon Balm, Rosemary, Plantain, Oregano, Sage, Peppermint we are using and drying for our upcoming Herbal Remedies Workshop.
